About Cronin's Publick House

The “experts” said don’t even think about it! Launching a new restaurant and pub in Quincy Point in June 1990 was widely considered a bad business concept. Just one block from our location, the General Dynamics Shipyard, which had once employed 50,000 workers, had recently closed down after 102 years of building ships. Many predicted disaster for the restaurants and bars in the area.

Our founders, Denis and Margaret Cronin had a different idea. They believed that by combining top quality food and beverages with the best in Irish hospitality, their business would succeed. As we enter our third decade, Cronin’s is busier and more popular than ever! We are grateful to our many valued customers and staff.

Cronin’s Publick House is family owned and operated and unlike the major chain restaurants, our customers are more than just another number. We invite you to join us for our award winning Steak Tips and Seafood or any of our popular menu items.

For your comfort and convenience, our cozy pub features free wi-fi, an ATM, twelve state of the art HDTVs with Stadium Sound and a satellite jukebox with nearly unlimited capacity to download hits from yesterday, today and all of your Irish favorites. We are conveniently located off Routes 53 and 3A and the MBTA's bus 221 stops at our front door.
As a licensed State Lottery sales agent, we invite you to take a chance on any of our popular games including Keno and instant scratch tickets. Stop by! See why so many people feel at home at Cronin’s!
